Crafting Steel Bowls

This is a prelude to making armor, but can serve up a better meal

98 US dollars
Traditions Workshop

Service Description

We will be hammering out a small steel bowl (or bowls if you are aggressive) about 4 to 6 inches in diameter. The process is called sinking or raising and is a basic step to learning the art of repousse' and chasing. In the shop we frequently use these little bowls as they do a good job holding onto mac & cheese while we bake it in the oven. They are also useful on camping trips or as a catch for coins and pocket stuff. They make a real nice ringing sound too.
