Forge Finger Rings

Service Description

Sounds simple right? Well maybe. Granted you don't need the fires of Mordor to make these rings, with their delicate leaves and tight spirals. But you do need some patience. You get to decide if your design is simple or, if you want to challenge yourself, complex. In this session we will explore making rings of various sizes and styles out of 1/4-inch stock, 3/8-inch stock and flat plate. You will practice drawing out, bending scrolls, surface punching, work holding and coal fire management. We have ring sizing tools so if you want to make one of your rings into a finger ring that is your option too.
