Hinges for a Viking Toolbox

Service Description

In this class we are making Viking era hinges that can be used on a toolbox or sea chest that you might build at a later date. We will practice drawing out, punching, drifting, bending/twisting and ornamentation. These hinges are typically attached with chinsed nails but screws could also be used. We will use a coal forge for this class. Solid shoes and long natural fabric trousers (i.e. blue jeans) are required. Long sleeve natural fiber shirt recommended.
