Viking era table (forge and saw)

A day of wood and steel, make a serving board, small knife and dining pick.

Service Description

After the safety briefing this class will start in the wood shop where we use a table saw, drill press and router to make a small cutting board that will serve as your plate. We will then transition to the forge and anvil to make a small knife (think butter knife) and a dining pick (one tine fork). As with all blacksmith classes, Natural fiber (wool, cotton ...) long trousers and close toe shoes are required. Long sleeve shirt recommended but not required. Class is for 12 and up, however if under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will be present for the duration of the class. Lunch from Sonny's BBQ included as part of the class.
