Get ready for Halloween or get ready for the worst - make your weapon.
Service Description
Moderately advanced class, pervious blacksmith experience recommended. We will start with a railroad spike, upset the point to make the future blade, then punch and drift a hole for the handle. Next, we will forge the hatchet blade with a slight "beard". Grind and finish the hatchet then mount a handle that you will shape with a draw knife. Lunch from Sonny's BBQ and all materials are included in the price.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel please give us at least 72 hours notice so we might be able to offer your class slot to another participant. SAFETY first! Wear natural fiber long trousers and solid shoes. No synthetic fabrics: blue jeans and leather boots work best. Long sleeve natural fiber (i.e. cotton) shirt is recommended. Eye protection - safety glasses - will be provided and must be worn at all times when working. Ear protection will be available.
